Ronald Lynn (Ronnie) Carter, 69, of Fayetteville was born December 8,1951 in Newport, Arkansas to Roy F (Pete) Carter and Wanda Lynn Wilson Carter He passed away on February 19,2021 at Washington Regional Medical Center. An upholsterer by trade, his attention to detail was always evident. Whether singing hymns, playing his guitar, or drawing sketches, he always aimed for perfection. He was quick witted and intellectual with a fascination for words and the inner workings of the world around him. Even as Parkinson’s made his everyday life a chore he never stopped singing. Never stopped being curious and never stopped making people smile. He will surely be missed.
He was proceeded in death by his parents and sister Jimmie Lee (Sherrie) Graves. He is survived by his children Ronald (Jillian) Carter, Chris (Dawn) Farris, and Tina (Mead) Crowell, brothers Donnie (Sharon) Carter and Bobby Carter, sisters Kathy (Ronnie) Prichard and Jan Carter Wilson, 13 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 3 pm. Saturday March 6th at Black Oak Baptist Church 1609 E. Black Oak Rd in Fayetteville
