Teresa Sue Vanderboom, 66, of Springdale, died Monday, June 15, 2020. She was born January 23, 1954 in Springdale to Charles “Sandy” and Mary Lucille LeBow Tripp.
Teresa enjoyed her family and friends. She was a true Arkansas Razorback fan no matter her geographical location when living in the other states of Nebraska and Georgia. In her younger years Arkansas games were a reason to throw a party and invite neighbors over to “Call the Hogs”! When given the opportunity she attended Razorback games regardless the year or the score. Despite the decline in her health she “tuned-in” and dressed up head to toe in her game gear. She loved antiques, jewelry, Catholic Medals, Rosaries and knick-knacks. She loved to start and finish collections of all sorts. One of her finest known talents was to repair just about anything with a magic marker, super glue, scissors, needle and thread. She was a devout Catholic and stayed to true to her religion.
Teresa is survived by her mother; two daughters, Johanna Rodgers Pianalto and husband Brock, Christina Vanderboom Bell and husband Michael; one son, Thomas Sharp; one brother, Chuck Tripp and wife Cindy; and six grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, David Vanderboom; youngest daughter, Mary Jean Vanderboom; and step-father, Joseph Taldo.
A memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 2, 2020 at St. Raphael Catholic Church in Springdale.
