Rusty and I graduated from East Newton HS in 1981. I always appreciated his attitude and fun loving spirit. He was a genuine great guy that had many friends. I have fond memories of Rusty and our time there in class and on the playing field. RIP my friend.

My Memories of Rusty were from all those club volleyball trips. He always had a smile on his face . He seemed to put good sportsmanship forward even when our team had some difficult matches and difficult calls. His family came first.

Eric and I are wishing the Frisinger family comfort that comes only from faith at times like these.

Rusty was always that Dad that was at everything. As a coach and a mother I admired his love for his family and daughters. He never missed a game or tournament. I remember always joking around with him and teasing him about all of the bling and decked out rims he had on his truck. He would tease me about being Canadian, and I will miss these ongoing jokes between us. Great guy and even better father!

Rusty was a nice guy. And a trickster. Graduation night, many years ago, se veral of us went to an area that had underground bunkers (not a place we were suppose to be) and it was so dark that you couldn’t see your hand in front of your face. Rusty was the only person with a flashlight so he was leading us through the bunkers. He decided to take off running and left us all in the dark. At that moment, it was so scary but we all had a good laugh later, especially Rusty. He was a super nice… Read more »

Love to each of Rusty’s family!! A very distinct memory of mine is every single time I saw him, he always had a huge smile on his face. His lovely wife and beautiful girls are a true example of his joy and happiness, fun times and laughter with others and making everyone feel loved and welcome!! Please know how much I love each and every one of you. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you. I remember when Rusty brought his race car to school for all the kiddos to see. He was so kind to all the students and excited to share what he knew. Each time I saw Rusty around his family – he had the biggest smile. He was one proud daddy and husband!!!!

I met Rusty when I was a freshman at the University of Arkansas in the fall of 1982. We both transferred to CMSU in Warrensburg, MO the following fall and were roommates during that time. I consider Rusty a dear friend and will be praying for his family during this difficult time.
