Our memories of Robert are all positive. He was a wonderful, compassionate, godly man. He built our home, remodeled it twice as the needs changed, helped us with modifying office space for a medical practice and never ever uttered an unkind word. In our family he gained “Hero” status because of his willingness to offer his help & counsel whenever we called on him. Over time he truly became a trusted friend and someone we loved and admired. May God keep you in perfect peace dear Robert and bless your family as they mourn their loss.

We have memories of Robert coaching our boys in baseball when they were young. He was a kind man, very knowledgeable and a great mentor for these boys. Our prayers are with all of his family as we know you will miss him greatly.

My memory of Robert was when my family moved to Black Oak from California. He was always willing to help when it was time to put our hay up. He always had a smile on his face. My brother Mark and I went to school with his kids and Robert was our 4-H leader. He will be greatly missed and my prayers go out to the family. God bless you and those you love.

I just found out that Robert had passed away a few weeks ago. My sincerest condolences to the family (Tammy and Derek – you know how I loved you dad/grandpa.). Robert was my Construction Manager at Habitat. I learned a lot from him; he told me many great stories about houses he had built around Fayetteville and working in the oil fields. I enjoyed working with him and was sad to see him retire. He will be missed!
