Margaret Mary “Marge” Roblee

Margaret “Marge” Roblee, 85, of Bella Vista, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2018 in Springdale. She was lovingly surrounded by her husband, their children, grandchildren and extended family.

Born Margaret Mary Hart on February 22, 1933 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Marge was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Margaret Mueller Hart, the fourth of eight siblings. Valedictorian of West Milwaukee High School Class of 1951, it was on the eve of her graduation that she met her future husband, William “Bill” Roblee. Over the course of their nearly 64-year marriage, the couple raised six children and followed Bill’s career to five cities before retiring in Bella Vista in 2002.

Marge was a dedicated member of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Bella Vista, participating in daily Mass and a special prayer group. She spent her free time making handmade rosaries for charity. She was a faithful servant and left a wonderful legacy. She and Bill enjoyed travel and other hobbies, but enjoyed family most of all, taking great pride in their grand and great-grandchildren. Her family will carry her wonderful example of love and faithfulness with them forever.

Marge is survived by her husband; five children, Jeff Roblee (Vicki) of Keene, New Hampshire, Debbie Campbell of Little Rock, Rick Roblee (Julie) of Fayetteville, Joe Roblee (Lee Ann) of Austin, Texas and Todd Roblee (Janeane) of Fayetteville; son-in-law, Jeff Watson of Springdale; 13 grandchildren and four great-granddaughters; three siblings and large extended family.

Marge is preceded in death by her daughter, Julie Watson, and four siblings.

A rosary was offered in her honor on Thursday, August 30, at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Bella Vista with a Mass of Christian Burial held Friday, August 31, at St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Springdale.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Circle of Life Hospice, St. Raphael’s Catholic Church in Springdale; or St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Bella Vista.

So sorry on the loss of Aunt Margie and our most sincere condolences to the entire Roblee family. Aunt Margie was one of the sweetest and most family dedicated person we knew. She was always there to support family in good times (weddings and multiple family get togethers/reunions) and bad (sickness and funerals). This was exemplified most recently during her travels to Chicago for my sister Margie’s (named after Aunt Margie) funeral and to Michigan for my father’s funeral. She was very close to her sister (my mother Marilyn) as she was to her entire family. Aunt Margie always focused… Read more »
