Jimmy Leroy Cain

Jimmy Leroy Cain, 78, died Thursday, January 9, 2020, in Springdale. He was born August 17, 1941, in (town), Texas, to Era Lewis and Christine Marie Johnson Cain. Jimmy is survived by his beloved wife Sue; two step-sons, Mickey Thomas and Sonny Spencer and wife Brandy; four step-daughters, Carolyn Strain and husband Bill, Donna Napier and husband James, Barbara Rand and husband Keith, and Laura Newkirk; seven grandchildren, including Amy Holder, Jeremy Napier, Candy Stevens, Christi Strain, Stephanie Strain, and Jeffrey Vaughan; one brother, Edward Cain; one sister, Lawanda Harris; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members. He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Cain.

I will always treasure how well you took cre of grandma Sue and loved each and everyone of us! You were such an awesome man and I will always remember the good times we all had. R.I.P. Im not saying good bye but am going to say “Ill see you later!

You were so strong, and though you knew you were tired. You attended other folks needs before your own. You were so compassionate and full of empathy for others. I can truly say you loved grandma Sue so very much. Thank you for being the best husband to her, and for being a wonderful grandfather to me. You are missed dearly already, but I know that God’s plan isn’t always understood. Your time here may be done, but you are always watching from a far. Until we meet again. I love you!
