Jeff and Jeraldine you are in my thoughts and prayers. I am so sorry for your loss. It’s been a long time. He was one of my nearest and dearest friends for a long time. Lots of fun riding horses at Saturday night horse shows and racing our horses in the bean fields in Earle!.

I’m going to miss you Jerald! We were best friends in school, but somehow lost touch over the years. I have thought about you many times over the last several years! You made me a better person growing up and I’m glad I got to know you!

Prayers for Jeraldine, Jeff and family. My heart breaks for you while at the same time praising God for welcoming Jerald home this very special day. Knowing that Jerald fought for every breathe he took his entire life. Seeing him a few months ago after years of not being in contact, he knew Mom and I. He smiled, the twinkle in his eyes was the same as when he young. Like when we played in the ravines, covering our shoes in gumbo that set up like concrete when it dried.
