James Thomas Johnson, Jr., 80, of Sallisaw, Oklahoma, died Sunday, June 17, 2018 at his home. He was born July 29, 1937 in Cotter, Arkansas to James Thomas, Sr. and Cora Walton Johnson. He was a truck driver and operated his own service station, but above all was loved by all and devoted to the care of his family.
He is survived by his wife, Hazel; four sons, Rick Johnson, Dean Johnson, Danny Johnson, Robert Johnson(Cindy); two brothers, Roy Johnson (Shirley), Carl Wayne Johnson (Evelyn); three sisters, Karen Hill (Matt), Mary Jones (Jerry), Faye Lewis (Bernard); nine grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.
Services were Thursday, June 21, at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Hickory Creek Cemetery.
